Variations On A Theme: Guadalupe Vestments by Sacra Domus Aurea

With it being the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, it seems like a good day to feature some of the impressive Guadalupe chasubles that have been produced in recent years by the vestment atelier of Sacra Domus Aurea.

All of these chasubles include the same embroidered image of Our Lady of Guadalupe within their respective orphreys, but they come within a variety different colours and styles of chasuble. Some of these examples also include an exclusive, bespoke silk that is patterned off the pattern found on the dress of Our Lady in the miraculous image of the same.

I feel little need to say more about it as the work speaks for itself, but it shows the range of potentialities that are available no matter your particular stylistic tastes and preferences.

To see all of their Guadalupe themed works, please see this link on the atelier's website.
