A Quick Survey the Work of Konrad Perathoner of Consilium Domum Deo

Konrad Perathoner is a 55 year old artist and sculptor who presently lives in Rome and whose work can be found by way of Consilium Domum Deo - Koni.  What particularly drew our attention to his work are the monumental sketches of altars and altar pieces, remarkable in their attention to traditional detail. That got us digging a bit more into his work in liturgical design and we thought we would share a bit of it with our readers to help introduce you to this liturgical artist.

Our own particular focus will primarily be on his work on altars and altarpieces, as well as some general views of his studio, but we'd certainly encourage you to visit his page if you'd like to see a broader selection of his work.

Last but not least, we look at one of his altar designs put into reality in Lucerne, Switzerland.
