I have spoken before of synthesis in the liturgical arts, and the recent photos of Archbishop Malcolm McMahon of Liverpool celebrating an ordination for the Fraternity of St. Peter in the usus antiquior in Warrington presents yet another opportunity to show just such a thing. Frankly I don't think a whole lot of commentary is necessary, just enjoy the photos and take note of the richness of the liturgical tradition, the beauty of the liturgy and of the liturgical arts that surround it.
