The following is a small selection of vestments that may be found at the Museo Diocesano Tridentino (the diocesan museum of Trent) in Italy that came by way of Nicola de Grandi of Milan. As with other such pieces, the focus here is simply to show some of the various designs and textiles which were indicative of the 17th through 19th centuries, both for our readers edification, as well as for the consideration of our vestment designers who are looking to build upon this noble tradition.
Without further ado then, the vestments.
